DECONSTRUCTED CURVE CHAIR

First Year, Second Semester "Spatial Order II" Studio.

In this group project, we were tasked with designing and constructing (both digitally and physically) a chair that could be easily carried with one arm, as well as house multiple books. Over the course of four weeks, and after many iterations, my group created the “Deconstructed Curve Chair” which consists of fragmented curves suspended by dowels in between continuous curves.

COMMUNITY CANVAS

First Year, Second Semester "Spatial Order II" Studio.

After studying Architectural Precedents, as well as light and shadow in Architecture, I was tasked with designing a Maker City MakerSpace. “Community Canvas” MakerSpace features floor-to-ceiling windows, that follow the sun’s patterns, allowing for natural light throughout the day. A large, open layout allows artists to collaborate on projects.
